The RAD-2 Shock Mount has hoops that are slightly stiffer than the RAD-1 and have an extra bracing design to be used with slip-on windscreens on the front, such as a Nimbus or other 'deadcat' style windscreen. This allows the RAD-2 shock mounts to handle the extra weight to be put on the front of mics whilst preventing sagging. Each mount has universal clips to fit microphones 19-25mm in diameter and comes with standard hoops (black colour) and soft hoops (light blue colour).
