The WME 950 is a weatherproof microphone unit for long-time outdoor measuring, stationary and mobile noise control and the analysis of environmental and traffic noise

It consists of the 1/2" condenser measuring microphone capsule MK 223, the 1/2" measuring microphone preamplifier MV 203 with a force-fitting 5 m cable, the dehumidifier TA 202, the rain shield RS 95, the wind shield WS 94 with bird spike and the mechanical holder.

The WME 950 can be connected directly to measuring systems with 7-pol. LEMO connector. The preamplifier is equipped with a heater resistor preventing a possible condensation under extremely climatic conditions.

The microphone unit can be calibrated with the Pistonphone type 5002 or other current sound pressure calibrators.

The WME 950 is designed for sound level meters of Type 1 according to IEC 61672.
