The H1-D uses a newly developed hardware platform based on the latest ADI chipset SC598 coupled to a 1.2Ghz ARM core.
Most DSP functions will be performed on the DSP with the ARM being used for audio transport (AoIP) functions.
The H1-D will support 16 channels of Dante using the Dante Embedded Platform, a software based Dante implementation. The
H1-D will follow a Dante clock master and sample rate, converting the audio to match the Dante clock and supports 16 channels of 44.1 or 48kHz audio output via Dante multicast with 1ms frames.
A native AES67 mode will support 16 channels out at sample rates up to 96kHz. The AES format will be L24 audio with 1ms packets supporting the widest compatibility with other AoIP solutions.
At time of shipping, all units will support the following formats/brands. ?AES67, AURO-3D®, Dante®, Dolby Atmos®, DTS-X®. IMAX Enhanced®, MPEG-H and SONY Reality360®.
